How will my Family First Prep product be shipped?


Your product will shipped via either USPS or FedEx. You will receive a shipping confirmation and tracking number once your order has shipped.


How many calories per day are Family First Prep emergency food supplies designed for?


We know that needs vary based on what emergency you're preparing for, what you plan to do during that emergency and your family. With that in mind, on each of our products that are designed for a certain time period you will see a chart like the one below. This chart is a quick guide to how many people and how many 1,200/1,600/2,000 calorie days each emergency food supply will last.


Where do I check order status?


Please follow the “View your order” button in your confirmation email for order status. You may also check your order status by logging into your account from any page on the website. Simply click on the “My Account” icon.


If you have any questions about your order status, send us an email at help@familyfirstprep.com and be sure to include your order number.


How can I change or cancel my order?


There is a very small window for changing or canceling your order. Please email us immediately if you need to make a change and we will be happy to assist you whenever possible.


My order is missing an item/has the wrong item/never showed up. What can I do?


Please email us immediately at help@familyfirstprep.com and will fix any issues with your order.

What is Family First Prep's return policy?

Our policy lasts 30 days and only applies to damaged, defective or incorrectly fulfilled products. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. However, if there is an issue with your order, please email us help@familyfirstprep.com and we will work with you on a case by case basis.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. Contact us at help@familyfirstprep.com and will work with you to get the product returned properly.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at help@familyfirstprep.com.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at help@familyfirstprep.com.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

What is the shelf-life of the emergency food from Family First Prep?


The shelf-life of our emergency food can vary from 7-25 years. Most of our family packs, entrees and soups feature up to a 25 year shelf life.

Where can I find the ingredients/nutritional facts panels?


On the individual pages for each product, in the images, you will find most of the nutritional facts panels.


How do I store my family’s emergency food supplies from Family First Prep?


We recommend a safe, cool, dry and easily accessible place for optimal shelf-life and usability.


How do I prepare emergency food from Family First Prep?


Most of our items will come with preparation or use instructions. However, they are all simple to prepare, mostly just requiring boiling water and 15-20 minutes.
